Duties of the Club Secretary

• Check that you know the next fixture in advance and inform your players and officials accordingly.
• Ensure players and officials are aware of the correct venue of each fixture.
• Check team colours of your opposition before travelling to the fixture in case of a colour clash.
• Ensure nets and corner flags are erected prior to the scheduled kick off time.
• Ensure the Referee receive his match fee of £50 (£25 per team) prior to the scheduled kick off time.  If the Referee postpones the match prior to kick off due to the conditions or any other circumstances, he is entitled to a half fee of £25 (£12.50 per team).
• Obtain the name of opponent’s man of the match (not just number 5).
• Obtain the name of the Referee for your match report.
• Communicate to the Press/Results Secretary, Mr T. Jones on 07762 061074 or 01244 375404 or email trevorjones957@gmail.com the result of the game on the day of the match, plus goal scorers and other relevant details by 2.30 pm. (9.00 pm for evening games).
• Complete the official team sheet [download available on the website] entering ALL details as required.
• Email the official match report within 2 days of the match taking place to the League Secretary at trevorjones957@gmail.com.
• Ensure all correspondence are answered promptly, any replies when required, are dispatched as soon as possible.
